Hi there everyone

It has been two weeks now since Bridge Over the Atlantic was published and so far I am delighted with the feedback I have received.  Although I am an unknown author at this stage I am very much enjoying writing and receiving positive feedback helps me to know I am on the right lines.

To celebrate this I thought it would be nice to do a giveaway of a signed paperback!  You will first need to check out the rafflecopter below
a Rafflecopter giveaway

So if you have read Bridge Over the Atlantic and would simply like to be in with a chance to get hold of a signed copy then leave me comment about the book  below.  If you haven’t read it yet and still want to be in with a chance then leave me a comment and tell me what appeals to you about the story from what you’ve heard!

Once the draw is complete and the book is in the post all email details will be deleted.

BOTA transported me back to our holidays last year, which we spent in this area. I can just imagine how Mallory first felt when she visited the Isle of Seil and went over the bridge, because I literally fell in love with the place, so thank you, thank you and thank you because it rekindled all my memories of what was one of the best holidays I have ever had and when I hopefully go back this year, I can go and stand on that bridge and think of Mallory! A book of happy tears and sad tears, but certainly one that I can read again and again x

  2. You know I loved this book! Great story

  3. Ok thought I’d posted this already! You know I loved the book. Great story

  4. What can i say but fabulous loved mallory and Sam and Greg, this book was an emotional rollercoaster of sadness and happiness, i cried so much that it hurt, but also tears of happiness, Lisa this book was intoxicating, extremely well written and oh boy did i love this book so much i have now read it twice, I have read many books in fact hundreds but this is the only book that made me sob so hard that i could not control my tears, on a happier note the music throughout the book was absolutely amazing from my favourite Firewood Mac to adele to Cliff Richards singing Congratulations 🙂 Lisa you blew me away with this book. Warm Regards Louise Husted x

  5. I havent bought the book yet, but fully intend to 🙂
I feel as if I ‘have’ to know Mallory from the snippets you have given over the last few weeks. Im very much looking forward to reading it (when I have read some of the pile i have stacked up already..getting there though 😉 )

  6. I’m dying to read this book! It’s on my to-read list on goodreads after seeing all the amazing reviews (congrats for all those 5 star ratings!) Everyone has been saying that it has made them cry, but in a good way, so I’m looking forward to having a nice emotional read once I’ve handed in my dissertation in a few weeks! 🙂 x

  7. First of all thank you Lisa for this wonderful book! It totally had me hooked from the first chapter. I fell in love with the characters. It made me smile, laugh and cry. Emotional rollercoaster. A book hasn’t made me cry or feel so much emotion in a long time. I could imagine every part, Great song choices found myself wandering around singing the songs from the book lol. One of my favourite songs is ‘Reason’. I look forward to reading your second book.

  8. I didn’t want to wait for the book to arrive so ordered it on kindle straight away. Read it, loved it! But there’s nothing like reading a real book, planning to reread on my holidays.

  9. I haven’t read it but am excited to read it from seeing your build up to it’s release on facebook and starting to see comments now coming through about it and how much people have enjoyed it! We have a holiday coming up very soon so I’m looking forward to reading it then, especially now seeing even more fabulous comments about it on this blog!

  12. I haven’t got this one yet. But after the snippets and all the comments, its definitely gonna move up to the top of my must read list!

  13. Wonderful to see you in print what an achievement – I would love the opportunity to make masses of money from your signed copy when you are rich and famous and to maximise your marketing – I have tweeted this post 🙂

  14. Haven’t read your book yet would love the chance to do that..Thanks for sharing..

  15. well, entering this competition has had me on a web page roller coaster, only for me to end up where I started?! How Ironic! Anyway I am finally here. I really hope Mallory has more luck with her knight in shinning armour! And, doesn’t every woman need a knight in shining armour at least once?! I’ve not yet purchased your book, as I am hoping to get it as a birthday gift but you never know what life is going to give you – so i’m taking my chances here, pot luck etc x

  16. I haven’t read the book yet but it sounds brilliant and right up my street. I’m off to New York next week so a paperback copy would be brilliant. I hate it when they ask you to turn your kindle off for take off and landing and it’s always just as you’re getting to a good bit so having it in paperback = one very happy reader that can keep on reading!!!! Yay

  17. Super super super!!!
Thankyou so much for writing such an incredible book, you are very talented!! BOTA had me hooked from the first paragraph, felt like i was part of the story reading it!! Now very very excited to go visit all of the special places! Its been a long time coming but its finally here! You are an amazing author 🙂 cant wait for your next book xxxxx

  18. This book was well worth the wait, I was so please when this book dropped through my letter box. From the minute I picked it up I was hooked, it drew me in, making me think about certain aspects of my life and places around Scotland I have visited. I loved the soundtracks, they just added to the whole moment. This is one emotional rollercoaster of a book for all the right reasons and twists that you would never expect. An easy book to read over and over again Cant wait for the next book.
